This microscope is a simple magnifier consisting of two biconvex lens elements separated 1cm apart. Top lens (A) : dia=9mm, f=28mm; Bottom lens (B): dia=17mm, f=35mm. Together they have a magnification of approximately 10x.
The stage plate has several cutouts for accessories (now all missing):
A: Cutout for the bull's-eye lens
B: Slot for a hand forceps
C: Holes for stage pointers for dissection
D: Articulating arm for the bull's-eye lens.
