This instrument was displayed at an exposition in Paris in 1936 by the exhibitor Monsieur G. Bernard. In March-April 1936 the ‘Exposition des instruments et outils d'autrefois’ was held in the Musée des Arts décoratifs, housed in the Louvre. One of the exhibitors was Georges Bernard.
