Six objectives are supplied with the screw-barrel microscope. They are numbered, and come with a protective brass cap (e.g., upper right).
The objectives come in two mechanical configurations. High magnification lenses are mounted within a brass hemisphere, fixed to the mounting flange by a brass retaining ring. Low magnification lenses are mounted in a depression and fixed in place by a screw-in flange.
