In the Four flat pieces of Ivory, O. there is placed several Objects, of which you here have an Account, viz.

No I. hath in the first Hole some Hairs mark’d | as are all the rest; in the next the Down of a Moths Wing, | the Dust of the Sun Flower, | the Dust of Mallows |.

No II. The Scales of a Sole Fish, | a bit of Sponge, the Pith of Elder, a bit of Cork, a bit of the Pith of Rush | the leg of a Moth, and a bit of Feather | the Eye of a Fly, and the Wing of a Fly ;

No III. A Louse and dead flies | the Down of a Thistle | a bit of Human Skin, a bit of Wasps Nest, and a bit of Leaf Gold | the Hair of the head, and a small Spider.

No IV. A spare Slice for Liquids.

The Brass Slider is to put any small living Object into at pleasure.
