The Optics of Historical Microscopes
The Golub Collection provides a rare opportunity for the study of the optics of historical microscopes. The collection contains instruments that are representatives of benchmarks of optical and mechanical advances throughout the history of the microscope.
Here we present findings from the Golub Collection discovered and analyzed at the University of California, Berkeley. Some of the data presented here were determined by students of BioEngineering 164, Optics and Microscopy.
