The achromatic condenser consists of two lenses (E, and below). Mechanically it has an integrated iris (B, and below) and two filter holders (C). The condenser body can be centered using controls D and F, and it can be rotated (for polarized light microscopy) using control A.
The condenser has no fine focus like some later P&L Models.
