There are five objectives included with this instrument. Only one screws onto the bottom of the brass support arm. Thus, there may be another support arm that is missing in this specimen.
This microscope has only two optical elements: The eyepiece lens (single, bi-convex) and Objective (single, bi-convex). The eyepiece section slides within the body piece.

Objectives are single, biconvex lenses fixed into a brass mount, that doubles as a Lieberkuhn. To reduce spherical aberration, the imaging area is greatly reduced by a small aperture.
