The stage supports a fish plate (A) for imaging blood flow in fish and frogs, and a stage forceps (C). The silk tie was used to immobilize the living specimen, and is still intact. Inserted in a central hole is a Bonanni spring stage (B).
Samples were supported by a Bonanni Spring Stage. The spring is missing from this instrument.
The gimbaled mirror has one plane side and presumably a parabolic back side. This mirror is missing. Diameter = 5cm.
