Ivory handle, brass frame, dual magnifiers, specimen holder, and set screw. The forceps/pointer is held in place by the set screw. When loosened, the sample holder slides along the bar to focus the sample.

The microscope folds and fits inside the carrying case. Note the inside color of the case.

The carrying case is cardboard covered in tooled leather.
