The accessories can be packaged with the microscope. The pointer (B) and scalpel (C) have a threaded shaft, which allows them to be screwed into the base of the instrument.
The forceps fits into slots into the base and sample stage.
The stage pointer/forceps press-fits into a hole in the sample stage.
