The microscope is stored in and supported by this wooden chest. The chest is made of lacquered softwood, and is riddled with holes from boring insects. Dimensions are 37.5cm (w) x 15.5 (h) x 18 (d). The carrying handle is visible beneath the mirror.

The microscope disassembles and can be stored in designed locations within the drawer.
